Pinecrest Motel

I did stay in this motel and to me i always had cleaned rooms with no smells and they do not allow pets the staff is friendly and easy going I did experience a haunted room and I am telling not joking I believe is room 230 it was quiete the experience!

This is a great place to bring that special someone for a few hours or even a night. It’s a great party atmosphere where basically anything goes. All the staff including the lovely cleaning staff who try their best to clean what can never be clean.??There’s one grumpy individual here who is a total buzz kill though very rude and arrogant you want to catch him on the days where he does laundry he’s to busy cleaning stains that can’t be cleaned to threaten to kick you out 30 seconds after checkout especially when you are a repeat customer. Prices are definitely high just like most of the people who occupy the rooms. But if you want to unwind and have a good time come to pinecrest but warning don’t stay to long each night takes it’s toll. 19

I stayed there for over a week and I enjoyed it. The room was nice and recently renovated along with the washroom, it had a stand up shower. I read the reviews before I checked in so I was looking out for some of the issues that others listed below. Over my the course of my stay here I saw the same spider on the ceiling and since spiders don’t bother me at all we got along just fine. There were definitely no bed bugs in the two rooms I stayed in. And I’m not sure why anyone would want to talk bad about the cleaning ladies or management like I also read below. I had no issues with them and I also didn’t cause any issues for them as well. Sounds to me like some of these reviews may have been written by guests that brought other problems on them selves snd were kicked out for either being too loud or trying to sneak their pets in the room. I appreciate that there is always someone working the front desk and how closely they watch the place so the guests feel safe and comfortable. And the ladies that clean the rooms are almost always around if you need fresh towels or anything else. There’s free WiFi just a click away the other thing I liked was that each time I turned on my shower it only took a minute or two for the hot water to come out. Check out is at 11 so if you plan to check out simply set your alarm for 1030 and then don’t be lazy like your at home in your own bed? Get up pack your stuff and proceed to check out for 11. I’ll most definitely stay there again in the future. And honestly I’ve stayed at a lot of motels and the one thing I wasn’t too fond of is that there’s not many places to walk to if you’re hungry and had a few drinks only an A&W about a km east on hwy 7 that’s why I gave a three for location. I should add that it’s one of the better A&Ws. I’ve never been a really huge fan of them but I am now. And I’m not sure why they don’t allow pets in the rooms because the floors all have nice and new laminate flooring which is durable and easy to clean up dog hair, but I’m sure they have reasons for not allowing all pets I wouldn’t let cats or any other pets in cause they smell but as long as someone has a well trained dog which is really easy to tell right away if the dogs obedience shows I don’t see any issues, however I’m well aware that there are plenty of terrible dog owners that get their dogs without knowing how a dog is supposed to be and be treated you can tell by how the dog walks on the leash if it’s a well trained dog. Dog owners like I’ve described are likely the reason why they don’t allow dogs here and I can only imagine how many people have tried to sneak their pets in. If you do stay at the Pinecrest Motel and you want your stay to be as good as mine was all you need to do is treat everybody the guests included and obviously the staff with the same respect you would expect and simply act like a grown up and I’m sure you’ll walk away just as happy as I was. If you’re not sure about any rules ask them so you know what they are strict about. Every other motel I’ve stayed at calls you at check out and if you take your time cause you’re tired guess what you need to pay to stay you can’t just stay for another 45 mins and think that’s okay. And all the other ones require a credit card deposit or cash deposit but this place only asks a $20 deposit for the key which I also thought was a good thing. As soon as I returned my key and thanked the front desk they handed me my $20 said thank you then I went straight to the A&W down the road to enjoy another bacon and cheese Uncle burger with sweet potato fries and a Oreo milkshake ;)

Clean room. We had options to rent the room from 2 hours to 24 hours. Check-in process was fast.

I checked in and people started lining up for rooms. Luckily, Its first come first serve basis. Large room, clean space and fair pricing. Seemed good for a motel especially past midnight. .

Every time I’ve stayed here it was a good experience. Prices are great and the rooms are clean. The reception even ran to give us our deposit. Great place to stay!

There's not a lot around the area in regards to food or entertainment. That being said, if you're at the Pinecrest, chances are you're already fully "entertained." Staff is friendly, yet firm when needed. The rooms are clean. The beds are decent. Price is fair. All rooms are smoking. A plus for some, minus for others.

I can say the price is right and the rooms have been upgraded. Very clean and the clerk was super friendly. Only thing bring your own soap and shampoo because they only leave one bar soap out. Lots of parking.
